This session will discuss LGBTQ+ representation in the media. It will also introduce methods for analyzing the motives behind representations of LGBTQ+ people and for identifying whether the effects of the representation are beneficial to the LGBTQ+ community.
This session is for individuals interested in becoming a safe(r) place for LGBTQ+ individuals on campus. It is also a requirement to attend this session prior to signing up for any following Safe Zone sessions.
