The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets will host a parade marking the acceptance of the Class of 2021 into the regiment.

The Highty-Tighties, the regimental band, will play.

Skipper, the Corps of Cadets cannon, will be fired when the cadets first enter the Drillfield, at the first note of the national anthem, and the first note of Tech Triumph. There will be three shots total: the first shot will be at about 9:50 a.m. and the final shot will be at about 10:45 a.m.

Everyone is welcome to watch the parade.

Parking is available around the Drillfield, and no visitor pass is necessary on weekends. Please be aware that move-in for all other on-campus residents will be happening Saturday and parking may be limited around the Drillfield. Other parking is available in the Perry Street lots and the Perry Street Parking Garage near Prices Fork Road. Find more parking information online.

If you are an individual with a disability who would like to attend the parade and desire an accommodation, please contact Nicole Ward at 540-231-6413 or email corpsofcadets@vt.edu during regular business hours at least 10 business days prior to the event.
